ROI Instructor Membership Form

When registering as a new instructor or renewing the following information is required. 

Proof of grade: New Instructors - copy of grading certificate Instructor renews - copy of grading certificate if graded since last registration. Current details relating to the AMA instructor requirements listed below:

1. DBS – via AMA request application – Scotland & Northern Ireland via own country requirements - Garda for AMA Ireland.
2. First Aid – basic first aid through any bona fide group
3. Child Protection Awareness – online via NSPCC or Educare. Sports Development officer at local council should be able to advise on local courses
4. Instructor Coaching – check AMA web site for details

It is the Instructors responsibility to have these in place and revalidate them every 3 years, copies to the AMA office. New instructors can register if the requirements are not in place with confirmation they will be attained within 12 months of registering. Instructors must register all their students with the AMA, students cannot register direct with the AMA.
