Update on England Karate
Dear members
As you’re aware, the AMA is affiliated with England Karate and I am a Director on the Board. I thought it would be timely to give you an update on the work we are doing.
England Karate is a non-profit organisation committed to providing an environment built on good governance, high-quality coaching, and transparency. We want to support karate clubs and organisations across the country to grow, develop, and flourish.
For several years now, we have been actively working in partnership with Sport England, and together we continue to make positive progress towards formal recognition, as the Governing Body for karate in England. We look forward to being able to announce positive news in this space in due time.
We are also in the process of updating our digital footprint meaning that we’ll be able to share a list of places you’ll be able to find us online and, hopefully, give you different places to engage with us.
